Announcing PdF Latin America

We're thrilled to announce that PdF is expanding to Latin America with an inaugural conference in Santiago, Chile, at the Torre Telefónica.

At the same time, we're pleased to welcome Diego Beas as our Latin America editor. Diego is a syndicated columnist who regularly contributes to publications all over Latin America. His new book, The Reinvention of Politics: Obama, the Internet and the transformation of the public sphere, will be published this fall in seven countries. He'll be blogging regularly for us, along with other contributors, on the ways that the internet is being used across Latin America to combat corruption, fuel social movements, and improve governance.
