Tomorrow at 1 pm--a few hours after Michael Bloomberg's keynote at the PdF Conference--the New York City Council will hold a hearing on a proposed bill to open all city data. Quoting Sam Wong,
The bill will require the City to create a centralized online repository of all publicly available information that is either produced or retained by the City. Furthermore, data published under this legislation will be done so in a format that will be readable by any computer device, whether that is a laptop or a phone. Not only will this collection of information be invaluable to elected officials, other government agencies and public advocates, but it can also be used by private citizens who could use the information in ingenious and unforeseen ways.
Here's the whole bill. The hearing--held by the Council's Committee on Technology In Government--is open to the public. The committee members could doubtless use the input of those familiar with the benefits of open data, so if you're in New York and aren't at PdF (or can break away for a bit), head down toward City Hall and show your support. (250 Broadway is right across the street from City Hall Park.) A group of open data advocates are using MeetUp to coordinate.

It is such a great idea. It
It is such a great idea. It achieve the transparency that will clear the doubt of the people. Public information being made online is such a great advantage. Anyway, an installment loan is a loan where you make installment payments to pay off the debt incurred by said installment loans. Hopefully you won't need installment loans for your installment loan payments – but the largest of these loans are the usual ones, such as a mortgage loan, an auto loan, or a student loan – the usual suspects. You can also get a short term loan for sudden expenses with a payment plan, which is also an installment loan.
