NGP’s software tools are available both in Web-based ASP form and as installed desktop applications. The company’s flagship product, Campaign Office Online, is designed to suit the specific management needs of political campaigns when it comes to fundraising, list management, reporting compliance, and managing volunteers. The software tracks data on donations, pledges, events, volunteers, and field workers; generates event, pledge and volunteer reports; sends mass email campaigns, and automatically generates and checks FEC/state reports for electronic filing. “We do a lot of high-end compliance work,” comments Pearlman, mentioning NGP’s work on John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign’s internal and fundraising databases.
For website management, the company’s Contribution Web Package allows clients to accept and track online donations and ecommerce purchases, enable online volunteer registration, and automatically update the information directly into their databases. The software can also be used for Web-based email access and website hosting. NGP has recently introduced a new broadcast email tool to expand the ways people can interact with their data.
NGP clients also use its products for online volunteer registration, email list building and campaign management, secure online contributions and real-time reporting and database integration of email, volunteer and donor information. The firm also has a Web Design and Development practice and offers data and IT consulting.
