Democracy In Action prides itself on being one of the only nonprofit organizations that provides a sophisticated, integrated online campaign platform to all nonprofits regardless of their economic reach. Democracy in Action, or DiA, was co-founded in June 2003 by April Pedersen and Chris Lundberg after they saw how only larger organizations with deep pockets could afford using the information and communication technology tools made available by other for-profit companies. “Our economic model makes us perfect for the nonprofit that is just getting started or experiencing a transition,” says Jason Zanon, Director of Outreach and Development.
