ActBlue
ActBlue is actually a political action committee (PAC) that takes an unorthodox approach to fundraising, by offering what what founder and president Benjamin Rahn calls "a comprehensive fundraising solution" to Democratic campaigns and anyone who wishes to fundraise for them. Accordingly, their unique tools should be consider as an alternative (or complement) to the fundraising fundraising software of traditional software vendors. ActBlue takes a community approach to fundraising. It serves a variety of different audiences and anyone can go to the site and start using ActBlue's tools -- it's a public space in addition to a web-based fundraising service. Using their web site, any supporter of Democratic candidates can set up a fundraising campaign and contribute money to the candidate of their choice. (ActBlue's success has inspired a Republican copy-cat called ABCPac RightRoots.)
