Katie is a New York Times technology reporter who covers venture capital and startups. Previously she covered Apple and led the paper's coverage of Apple's fight with the F.B.I. over consumer privacy. She was a columnist at Bloomberg and a tech reporter at the Information, as well as a writer at Fortune magazine for nearly a decade where she covered Wall Street and the 2008 financial crisis. covered the financial crisis.
