Sam Graham-Felsen writes on technology, politics, and social movements for publications including The Nation, Mother Jones, New York Magazine, the Washington Post, the International Herald Tribune, and GOOD. He's also appeared on Bloomberg TV to discuss the impact of new media on campaigns and has produced several documentaries for Current TV.

During the 2008 presidential election, he served as Barack Obama’s chief blogger. After the campaign, he worked as a digital strategist for some of the largest governments, nonprofits, and businesses in the world.

He speaks regularly about how technology is impacting politics, nonprofits, business, the workplace, and culture. He's lectured before the Democratic Caucus of the US Senate, senior government officials in France, Brazil, and Mexico; at universities including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Oxford, at the United Nations World Urban Forum; and at technology and politics conferences in countries including Nigeria, India, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Peru, China and Australia.

His work has been written about in publications including the Washington Post, Newsweek, WIRED, O Globo (Brazil), Strategies (France), and Fast Company, which named the Obama media team “The Most Innovative Startup of 2009,” beating out Apple and Google. In 2010, the Guardian named him one of the “Top 50 US Politics Twitter Accounts to Follow.”

He was born and raised in the neighborhood of Jamaica Plain in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended the Boston Public Schools before graduating from Harvard with a degree in Social Studies.
