PDF 2013 | Google Fellowships

Google and Personal Democracy Media are teaming up to offer registration fellowships for women working in civic technology to the 10th annual Personal Democracy Forum, June 6-7, 2013 at NYU’s Skirball Center.

This year’s theme is THINK BIGGER. We've chosen it in part to honor our late friend Aaron Swartz, who used that phrase with PDM co-founder Micah Sifry, while asking, "Why not harness the power of the Internet to work on the larger-scale problems?" Why not, indeed. Read our blog post announcing the theme to learn more.

For the 2013 Google PdF Fellowship, we're looking for 15 women who turn ideas into action, deploying new applications of technology in the political or civic arenas. Coding and development skills are a plus.

To apply, take a few minutes to fill out this form by 12noon EST on Monday, May 13, 2013 to tell us more about yourself and how you’re thinking bigger.

Fellowships cover the full registration costs and include a meal with Googlers during the conference. All applicants will receive notifications regarding decisions the following week.

The application is now closed.
